MAUNDY THURSDAY

TABLE FELLOWSHIP

 

 6:00 p.m.   Share a simple meal of soup, bread, fruit, nuts and cheese, as the disciples might have eaten at the Last Supper

7:00 p.m.   Informal table fellowship with hymn singing, footwashing, sermon and communion.

8:30 p.m.  Stripping of the altar

 

 

March 30

GOOD FRIDAY 

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

 2:00 p.m.  Walk the Via Dolorosa with Jesus:  pray and sing at the Fourteen Stations of the Cross

 

April 1

EASTER DAY

Both services on Easter morning feature majestic trumpet voluntary, hymn singing, resurrection sermon, and communion offered freely to everyone.

 

5:30 A.M.  THE GREAT VIGIL OF EASTER

Hear the chanting of the exsultet by candlelight, and the overview of salvation history from creation to Christ, as we experience the great drama of moving from darkness to light!

Bring bells to ring with the first Easter alleluias!

 

10:30 A.M.  FESTIVAL EUCHARIST WITH

HOLY BAPTISM

During the principal service on Easter morning we welcome the newest members of the

Christian family through the sacrament of Baptism.

 Less than a three minute walk from the 83 or 91 bus stop at the corner of Harvard and Prospect Streets.

  

We have a small parking lot, and on-street parking is available.

Neighborhood parking permits are not required on Sundays.

 

 

8:00 AM Holy Eucharist Rite I

  A quiet spoken service lasting approximately one hour.

  Recorded music occasionally adds to the worship atmosphere.

 

10:30 AM Holy Eucharist Rite II

LOTS of singing, from Lift Every Voice and Sing II and Hymnal 1982.

Refreshments and conversation are offered in the parish hall after worship.
