ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 25:  ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

On Sunday, February 25 we will hold the 109th Annual Parish Meeting IN THE MIDDLE OF a special 10:00 worship service.

Worship will be held in the parish hall, a service of Morning Prayer with sermon and communion.  After the sermon the Annual Meeting will be called to order.  A facilitator will help us stay on time and on track.  After the conclusion of the meeting, worship will continue with the Peace and Holy Communion.

We expect that this will take less time and be more efficient than having a regular service, a social hour break, and a completely separate annual meeting.  We hope many of you will attend worship on this day to help us reach the quorum, and enter into the spirit of experimentation as the Spirit leads us to do a New Thing!

Welcome Home to St. Bartholomew’s!

Friendly faces, traditional hymns, thought-provoking sermons.

Ash Wednesday

 Worship

 Wed February 14

yes, Ash Wednesday is also Valentine’s Day!

♥         ♥         ♥

12:00 noon & 7:00 pm

Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Holy Season of Lent, a period of personal searching and reflection that continues until Easter.

The noon service on Ash Wednesday is a simple gathering around a table in the parish hall, with prayers, scripture reading, sermon, communion offered freely to all, and distribution of ashes.

At 7:00pm, the Ash Wednesday service moves to the upstairs church, with organ music, congregational singing, prayers, scripture reading, sermon, communion offered freely to all, and distribution of ashes.

Everyone is invited regardless of denomination, experience with church worship, or level of belief.

Lent is the perfect time of year for those who are seeking relationship with God to draw closer to the Divine Mysteries.

Bring your questions, bring your disappointments, bring your skepticism; and let Jesus meet you exactly where you are.

If you’ve been curious about us,

we’d love to meet you!
